The tested model of Subaru Impreza was introduced in Australia and New Zealand in November 2016. This ANCAP safety rating applies to all hatch and sedan variants.
Dual frontal, side chest and side head airbags (curtains) and a driver knee airbag are standard. Advanced seat belt reminders are fitted to all seats. Autonomous emergency braking (AEB) and lane support systems (LSS) are not available on the base variant but are optional or standard on higher variants.
