TESTED 2020

The Peugeot Boxer has been tested as part of ANCAP’s Commercial Van Safety Comparison which assesses the fitment and performance of the active (collision avoidance) safety systems fitted to commercial vans.

The Peugeot Boxer is fitted with a car-to-car AEB system which performed well, however it lacked the ability to detect and react to pedestrians and cyclists. Blind spot monitoring, lane keep assistance and a driver monitoring system are not available. A seatbelt reminder is available, but only for the driver.

The Boxer’s car-to-car detecting autonomous emergency braking system performed well, however its other ADAS systems did not perform as well as other vans tested, limiting its overall safety performance to BRONZE.
